Let me start by saying I love “gadgets”. This encompasses quite a few things, but tools are one of them. Even more so, unique tools. I’ve always been a fan of pocket knives and multitools, but earlier this year I stumbled onto a unique site: Atwood Knife and Tool. Check it out!
Peter Atwood, the man behind the site, designs custom pocket tools and knives. These are the most amazing little gadgets I’ve ever come across. They kind of remind me of what tools from steampunk fiction would look like. They’re all completely hand made by him personally in small batches. They’ve become highly collectible, and yet are still very usable. I have several of his tools, and am constantly finding myself wanting more. The designs are completely unique, and each one is like a small piece of utilitarian art.
