Foam Lizard Tails Are the Stuff of Dreams

A rogue stumble took me to Greasy Moose last night, and I still have not fully recovered. Now the flash animations inside are not simply random. There are backstories, laid down in the form of comics drawn by the band members. I advise you, once you whet your whistle with the tidbits below, to go back to the main site and view the flash animation in descending order, which seems to be backwards chronologically.

The More You Know…

Ah! The Glorious 80’s, ‘Twas a time when young impressionable Men n’ Women of the Future would sit down to enjoy a well-earned repast of violent after-school cartoons each day. But into this Valhalla a spectre crept. Conservatives, fueled by the fears of the little rugrats growing up to be stringy – haired pimply goat – lovin’ satanists or something, made sure that each episode had a PSA attached to the end. These PSAs were obviously an after thought, given the crappy production quality, and hideously lame dialogue. Of course compare that with 80’s cartoons in general…

Some of the worst, in my opinion, were the PSAs from G.I. Joe. Featuring a random “Joe of the week”, hanging out suspiciously close to where children live and play, they would pop out of nowhere to morally instruct and get inside the personal space of those same children.

Honestly, made me hope that this week, Cobra might win. Cobra doesn’t creepily hang around playgrounds. Cobra blows shit up, nowhere near children to my recollection. Mythbusters blows shit up too, no kids either. I think I can rest my case on that.

You have to watch out for those little old ladies. They seem harmless but if you get in their face they will take you down with out mercy. After all, they didn’t manage to last this long by letting newbs walk all over them.

Biggest Samsung Display Yet

While the image is a little grainy (it’s not even up to VGA), I think the size of this display and the adaptive pixel layout make this display a must have for every household.
